Every parents first big purchase are baby cribs. Every child needs a crib to sleep in but every mom wants her baby girl to have a bed fitting for a princess. Cribs designed for girls with delicate scroll work and laced trimmed bedding are both sweet and adorable.

As girls get a little older, their need for clothes grows. In fact, no matter what age your little girl is, she is going to want a closet full of clothes, and more. Unfortunately, you will soon find more than half of their clothes scattered across the bedroom floor and furniture. Instead of a bedroom floor, all you will be able to discern are dozens of girls shirts.

Fact is, most teenage girls will own more girls t shirts than just about any department store. This is one reason many people seem to think that girls are a little more high maintenance than boys are. Boys tend to be more laid back in personality and are less self-conscious about the way they look where girls tend to be more of a perfectionist.

Having a house full of boys can be a totally different story. While boys need much of the same things that girls need, like a crib and clothes, they take less stuff to make them happy. Most boys could care less about their clothes or how clean they are. Some boys barely care if they are dressed at all.

Little girls may be messy with their clothes, but when it comes to boys, you will probably find just about everything else on their floor. Stacks of who knows what and hidden odors. Boys are less conscious about their personal habits. However, boys are a lot less complicated to deal with as children. They are typically less moody and don’t hold grudges long.

While raising boys and girls can be very different, each sex has their ups and downs. But giving your children love and support is what is most needed in any family. Boys and girls can both grow up to be happy and successful with their parents support and love.
